Our mission is simple: to build the world’s best software for event organisers, promoters, drivers, time keepers and karting venue operators.
Alpha are excited to be looking for our first software engineering hire to help build our motorsport event management suite of products. We are looking for a full stack Ruby On Rails developer with at least 2 years commercial experience to turbo-charge our development velocity as Alpha grows rapidly both in the UK and aboard.
You will become a key player helping us to take our products to the next level in terms of functionality, speed and customer satisfaction. You will help to develop our suite of motorsport event products: the event management system, our high-throughput live timing & streaming applications, the results site and scrutineering systems. Our goal is to make Alpha the default choice across the world for motorsport event organisers, competitors, officials, fans and other associated parties.
To apply for this position, please attach your CV and a covering letter. In the covering letter please explain why you would like to work for Alpha, as well as any other information about you which you think might be relevant to this role.
Alpha's new Customer Support Representatives will help our ever-expanding client base to maximise their use of our software. You will become an integral part of our team that champions our customers. You will be tasked with ensuring prompt attention, friendly communication, and thoughtful resolution of all client interactions both via email and over the phone. You are driven to go the extra mile to make an experience special. You are comfortable adapting to our ever-shifting priorities as we support rapid growth and change in our products. You love making a difference through your work and are always looking for ways to improve the customer experience. You will also be required to provide training to new customers, create and update user guides and other training materials and communicate issues to the development team.
Our customers operate seven days a week, and sometimes run late into the evening. The role will require regular weekend (1 in 3) and regular evening work. This position is open for full time / part time positions.
